Municipal Shared Resources Program
The W Group has working partnership agreements with several municipalities. The Municipal Shared Resources Program enables one municipality to create the core content/material along with the design of an E-Learning Program and share it with another municipality at a 'reasonable fee' with a credit going back to the originating municipality. Ultimately, many municipalities can share in the proactive, innovative approach taken by the originating municipality. The Municipal Shared Resources Program benefits all participating municipalities.

Fees collected from partner municipalities are based on the size of the municipality with very cost-effective ranges and low annual maintenance fees.
 
 

FEATURES INCLUDED:

There are a number of features that we have included in the FREE version of the COVID-19 Awareness E-Learning Course for Municipal Employees and Volunteers, including:

No Seat Costs - Standard on all courses by The W Group, but especially this FREE one - of course.
Responsive Design - Good for any platform (desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone) though we do recommend the first two for the optimum experience.
Engaging Content then Quiz - REPEAT - Progress learning as we move through material versus a BIG test at the end.
100% Scoring - Our philosophy is that as adult learners we really need to ensure all participants know the correct answers to all of the material, especially one as important as COVID-19 safety.
Automatic Supervisor Reporting - Each time an employee or volunteer completes the learning course an email notification is sent to the Supervisor's email address recorded as part of the registration, alerting the supervisor of all successfully completed course participants.
Participant Confirmation -  No guessing here, each successful participant receives an email notification letting them know that they have successfully completed the COVID-19 Awareness E-Learning course. This email provides a PDF including the completion date should the employee require it. 
 

OPTIONS:

To support the municipal government sector that we specialize in, The W Group has prepared this E-Learning course to be used by all municipalities free of charge. However, we do recognize that some municipalities may want some customization and we have outlined below several options to enhance your COVID-19 Awareness E-Learning course experience.

Participant Completion Report

Beyond the individual email confirmation of course completion sent to the participant and their Supervisor, we offer a weekly email containing an Excel spreadsheet with the names of all participants along with confirmation of whether they successfully complete the course or not.

Narrated Version

Based on work completed by the District of North Vancouver we are pleased to offer you a narrated version of this E-Learning course. Note: Narration is included on all embedded videos. Non-video based content is not narrated. Please view the two samples below with speakers on.

Content Custom Edits

Would you like to make any custom edits to the Course Content? (Video, text, questions/answers)

Customization of course content, within videos, static content and questions/answers are billed at $100 per hour plus GST. We provide a Word document of content on which custom edit requests are recorded using Track Changes. An estimate is provided prior to any customization work being completed.
